The Beeswax Co Reusable Beeswax Food Wraps - Indigenous
Sorry, currently out of stock
Beeswax food wraps offer an attractive and natural alternative to using single use plastics such a clingwrap or plastic bags to help protect and prolong the life of your food. They can be used to wrap almost anything from sandwiches to cheese, bread, vegetables or even to cover bowls of leftovers in the fridge. They’re also fantastic for covering half used fruit and veggies if you don’t need to use the entire thing straight away (such as onions, cucumbers or lemons).
The Beeswax Co hand makes all their beeswax wraps in the beautiful hinterland of Byron Bay. All their fabrics are 100% GOTS certified organic cotton with GOTS certified fabric ink. Fabrics are screen printed by hand by The Beeswax Co with their own bespoke designs before waxing them with a combination of antibiotic free local beeswax, organic coconut oil and pine tree resin.
The Beeswax Co recently partnered with a local indigenous artist from Mullumbimby, namely Daniel Hend, to create a bespoke set of designs; The Indigenous Range and the Indigenous Geo Range.

A message from the Manufacturer:
When using your wraps, use the warmth of your fingers or hands, hold the wrap together for a few seconds and it will stick to itself, or it will stick to your bowl or container. They will take on any shape that you wish to wrap, conveniently and efficiently.
Clean your Beeswax Food Wraps after use with warm water and a mild detergent, gently wipe both sides and rinse. If they don't have any food left on them, just a rinse under warm or cold water. Leave to drip dry over the dish rack and fold up and store in a drawer.
With care your Beeswax Food Covers can last between 6-12 months. To store your wraps we recommend folding them in half 3 times, then fold in half in the other direction. Store in one of your kitchen drawers. We have found this prevents them drying out and keeps them fresh for longer. They can dry out if stored lying flat. They also like to be used, the more you use your wraps the better they work.
Do not soak in water or use hot water. Do not use them in the oven, microwave or dishwasher as this will melt the wax and lessen their life span. Do not use with raw meats.
