Did you know!? It has been estimated that 5 billion plastic bags are used per year in Australia with 150 million ending up as litter.
That litter directly impacts our environment and often ends up in waterways, gravely affecting our wildlife. The government has made an effort to help the situation by introducing the lightweight plastic bag ban across most states but we can all go one step further by carrying reusable shopping, produce, bread and bulk food bags and by using them in all stores, not just at the supermarket.
